Zion Lutheran School

The Zion Lutheran Church (originally German Lutheran Church of Hudson) built a schoolhouse on its land in 1891. The pastor conducted school during the winter months (Thanksgiving to Good Friday). Children who lived further away could board in the pastor's home for the school term. When a nine-month school year became law, only confirmation classes continued in the schoolhouse. In 1920-1921 it was used to house the pastor.
