The Warren No. 9 school was opened in 1899, replacing an older building on the same land. It closed in 1957 and was later moved to Tripoli, Iowa's North Park. In 1975 it underwent a renovation as part of a bicentennial project. As of 2024 it remains preserved and open to the public as a museum.
