Saint John's Evangelical Lutheran School

The Saint John's Evangelical Lutheran church began in 1893 and the schoolhouse was built in 1895 for $200. Christian day school classes were taught in addition to Sunday school. In 1910 a 12ft by 18ft annex was added to the schoolhouse. A tornado on May 11th, 2000, destroyed the property, though the church building was rebuilt. It appears the schoolhouse was either gone by then or was not rebuilt.
