The Bristol Township #7 school (Minnihan school) was built in 1874 on land donated by the Patrick Minnihan. It was donated by the family to the Greene County Historical Society in 1967 and was renovated in 1995. It originally stood just northwest of Jefferson, IA, but now functions as a museum on Jefferson's campground.
